and I, like a mere puppet,

Falling in a trance,
a mirthless enamor.
Glimmering light,
fading music,
and She,
like an open book
revealed
the unforgettable brittleness of life.
Drowned sorrows & withheld emotions
now vigilantly,
perched upon
her golden silence.
Riveting spaces
Words, unguarded.
the nakedness of thoughts
& her translucent soul.
A blemish on the heart
a sliver of tear,
the unfulfilled yearning,
and it was traced,
her beauty spot.
The day came
the light shone and she woke up with a smile
that he known
but now he knew the matter in the deep
that slays her heart but she stands steep
and so he walked with her to the moon and back
and she knew her worth as he held her tight
For he knew the bruised she had been through
and he became the guard between the atrocities of the world and her soft heart.

A playful smirk,sky-high height that sticks out amidst a bunch of people, that exotic complexion which must have made so many ladies go weak on their knees *_* and some cryptic, inscrutable emotion that's been salted away in an abyss--These were few of your many attributes that I could recollect as I finally settle down to splash out my wishes for your special Birthday. I know I'm a little late doing that ( Thanks to you..:P ) but I'll make sure that this one makes to the list of the best b'day wishes you've ever received..*Govinda styled wink*.

After so many awkward meetings and a few incredible whatsapp conversations (Cricketwala is my favorite...:D) you've finally made it to the list of MY people. Hence, this post.*fist bump to you*. ^_^

I cannot thank that amazing person enough for introducing me to you and even though we aren't that close friends, I've always felt some kind of superlative connection with you from the very beginning of these years. Having you and all around is always a delight..well, my face clearly shows that, doesn't it?

Believe it or not but this is a fact that I WILL visit Australia..soon.. someday..obviously but here's the thing if I could take only and only 3 guys along with me, YOU will be one of them three I would love to tag along with me. Hands down. No kidding.NOW THIS IS BIG ! Well, now you know how much I love you. ^_^ 

Hope we could be way too better friends than what we have right now. Even so, there are far far amazing, stunning, shocking and startling events waiting to for us to unwind. So many days to wander off and getting wasted, nights to share the spine chilling horror stories, UNO sessions, trip to GOA and so many other wonderful places .

I just want you to know that you're going to be one very successful and the happiest person someday. The day would come soon. Inshallah ! The road might look a little bumpy now but once you get through it, there's always a smooth sailing. There are far better things ahead than any we leave behind. Remember, when life gives you a lemon,you add a thread and seven chillies to it and hang it on your vehicle. ( Lame I know..:D)


May 1st of February be always as special to you as this Birthday wish. :D And remember you aren't growing any older..just getting a little more distinguished. ( someone very intelligent who was  once upon a time also very close to me, told me that.... I'm sharing it with you..:) I think that's one thought to cherish for life.

Rain drops pitching down the window
In a blink,
stumbled upon her faded lashes.

Whispers screeching through silent ears
in the veil of grey choir.
danced upon the melancholic heart.

A night wide awake.
A room cold and dark.
A sudden flutter,
smashed her world like a pack of cards


Beneath the starless crown she froze,
From sparkling to crispy toned
sleep in those eyes never played close.
Suddenly,
Pushing away the murky clouds,
a shaft of light arose.

Looking beyond the darkness above,
that blurry sight caught her attention.
Draped her with elation.
Improved her vision.
Darted her out of illusion.

Crimson lips gave away the light.
Shrugging away the tears,
Oh yes ! She smiled.
Her firm vow----
Shattered?
No, not her way of life.
Not today !
