Book Review: Boltu by Debaprasad Mukherjee.

A story about self discovery through love, betrayal and other emotions that help Boltu, the protagonist grow into a better version of him. The book describes him as a person who transforms his life from being a no one to striving hard to become everything he really wanted to be.

Being born in a family of many brothers and sisters, Boltu, often used to find himself neglected or ignored and this pushed him into the dark side of his personality and he found himself becoming a part of bad company. He used to roam on the streets, pick pocketing and gooning around but when he comes to face certain brutal and yet life changing truths about himself, he works hard to make his dreams come true.

Boltu is someone who is a dreamer and wants to pursue he dreams but he just doesn’t knows the right way to follow them, and even though he was rogue and yet was finally able to develop his self esteem and achieved everything he desired by not giving up.

In a way, we would find a little of ourselves in him. We all have strived hard to grow into a person that we've always dreamed of being and well, after all the struggles we face, often, in the end, we reach to our desired destination and that’s all this book is about.

The cover of the book isn’t very exceptional but the story has been knitted very carefully and narrated in a crispy manner by the author. Would love to read more from the author and I wish him the best for his future endeavors.
